| Is it easier to go with the .750 barrel at 10.3 inches and buy a .750 front cap or will I have a hard time with the triangular handguards and gas tube ? I was originally thinking DD 10.3 barrel from adco and have them port the gas port at .093 or do I have to have them trim that barrel down "pencil thin profile" ? Then send the barrel off to have it anodized. |
| The originals had barrels that measured .625 under the FSB FWIW. A lot of guys do builds with .750 barrels, but usually it ends up bugging them because it just doesn't look right. When you spend all the time and money to do something like a 607, it's worth finding the right barrel. DD, JT, BCM and Bushmaster all have ltwt profile barrels that would be a better choice IMO. |
