| I borrowed some retro manuals from the museum. I borrowed 2 m16a1 manuals, and 2 m79 manuals. I plan on scanning them into pdf format. Anyone one else interested in copies? |

I was going to post some M16A1 manuals in the next couple of days. I'll wait to see what you've got so I don't duplicate anything. |

I have just basic manual for the m16a1. Then I have 2 m79 manuals. I also have the manual for the .22 conversion system for m16a1. If you already made your manuals into PDF go ahead and post them because that might alleviate some of the work load for me lol. Tell you what, I've got access to a couple of different ones, I'll post them all, and you add what you have. I definitely don't have access to any M79 manuals. |

A better question is "Does anybody have access to .pdf copies of the original (ie: change #0) versions of these manuals?" Because the later versions have made changes to the component part number listings / materials lists & there doesn't seem to be another source for the original information.
An example of the changed info (in the later versions) is that the handguard part numbers are for the round guards, not the triangular versions. Other changes in the text (of the later versions) exist as well... What really sucks for me is that I used to have all this info, but lost it when my last comp / hard-drive died... & thus - my search continues... |
