Hello,

I have a Sporter II marked colt lower, large pin.
The upper is original large pin, (not drilled ) deflector block, forward assist,( IIRC Teardrop )bayo lug, HBAR CM A2 upper.
C MP barrel, all colt, Handguard are early style round, glossy.
Colt locking large pin take down, screw slot both sides.
SP 262xxx , IIRC

Would this have left the factory like this or is it a mismatch gun ?
Maybe R6700 ?
Or were sporter II only ever mated to A1 uppers ?

Thanks

Sporter II's were a mismash of uppers frequently.

My Sporter II had a A2 deflector, A1 sights, ...have seen some interesting ones.

Only saw large hole uppers by the way

My Sporter II carbine is a factory mutt gun. It has an A2 upper, 16" pencil barrel, A2 marked slab side A1 profile lower, A2 slip ring...

The slab side lower threw me off, since it's an A2. There are tons of factory configurations for the SP2's from the '80's.
