l was looking at the my A1 upper and it has flash on both the front and rear of the carry handle and no proof marks forward of the ejection port door. Looking at Retro Black Rifle other manufactures section I think I have an H&R upper did any of the GM uppers have flash?
So to be correct on my A1 build I need to use an E type stock and birdcage flash hider along with a full fence NDS lower. |

Having seen several GM uppers, I’d say that none of them have the flash on the outside of the carrying handle. The GM uppers are identified by the square forgings and no proof marks. There MIGHT be a little more flashing on the interior on the carrying handle, but I can’t say for sure. |
