I just want to give a little shout out for John.
I had a Colt Chrome barrel that I bought brand new back during the ban. The vendor had ground off the bayonet lug. It is a very good shooting barrel but not having that bayonet lug was unacceptable.. I took off the old FSB and bought a new non drilled FSB and sent it to John for drilling and mounting. John mounted it for me and I put it on a 604 upper and took it out to the range today. I had put the rear sight exactly in the center. My first target was a 4 inch clay on a 60 yd berm. First shot got the clay. It was right on. I then went to a 100 yd paper target. Second shot right in the black. One minor one position adjustment to the windage and it was right on the inner circle. John did a great job aligning the FSB. Usually there is a lot more adjustments to factory installed FSB. I am posting this to let you know if you need to have a FSB drilled I recommend John because he does good work. |

I had John install a undrilled FSB on my 9mm barrel last week. From the day he received it to the day I had it back was 3 days. His work was excellent. I'll be sending him work in the future when I start my new build.. I have had quite a bit of work done by him this year. His turnaround time has been excellent. His quality of work has been first rate. The couple of minor problems I had he fixed quickly with no hassle. His communication is excellent. He is a good resource for the retro community. |
