i am building a xm177e2 and i need the demensions for the granade ring
i am going with a slip over with the ring all in one made out of steel.

You can get one from Brick on gunbroker for $15. The grenade ring isnt easy to make. Ask me how i know.

I only have a cheap plastic caliper, but the OD is 15/16 which is 1/16 less than the hider and the visible area is 10mm including the bevel (copy the angle of a m4 barrel cut) Mine is permanent so that's about the best I can do for you. Hope that helps
