I am looking for someone to do some barrel work (chop, thread, a bit of contouring, a pin & weld, and maybe partial refinish).  I have used AR15barrels in the past, but don't think he is in the business anymore.  I know ADCO does fine work, but adding up all the services I need, it looks like this little project may cost a small fortune, going that route.   I have read of a fellow, that goes by heat n beat, to do such work....how would I get in touch with him?  Anyone have any other recommendations?

Heatnbeat may not be accepting work right now due to an illness in the family. However give him a shout here: [email protected]
As for ADCO,shoot him an email as well.A few weeks back he was asking opinions on how he could better serve the retro community. He may very well be willing to set you up with a "package" deal.He also comes highly recommended by many members.I personally have not dealt with him yet as Heatnbeat has done my work.Good luck..

I used to have my work done by Randall at AR15BARRELS too, but since he went Tango Uniform, I've been using ADCO and have been very pleased with them.  Send them a PM (they have a manufacturer's forum here), they may give you a package deal on the chop.
