Does anyone have a Lone Star Ordnance A1 pistol grip.IIRC they have a small trap door in the bottom of them to store ???spare parts? I want to know how close to original A1 grips they actually are,and are they well made or cheezy. Please let me know if you have one lying around.Thanks.

I have a Lonestar A2 style on my 723 clone.  I like it, it fills my hand better than a standard A1 or A2 grip.  The trap door seems ok, but I don't know that I'd store anything important there.

A grip that appears to be identical is available new from M&A.

I have a LSO pistol grip on my HK416 clone.
Mine looks a lot like the one M&A has pictured.
Did they make pistol grips without the finger bump too?
I wonder if they found a bunch of LSO pistol grips in some warehouse.

They are very well made grips. The Lonestar grip has a slightly different feel than a regular A1 Military grip, probably due to the base of the Lonestar grip being wider/thicker.

I have one in the spare parts box that I bought "back in the day" (early 1990's).

That's the one I remember M1.
