Depending on how "particular" you are on your Retro builds, have you considered buying one w/forge codes & removing them for a "close enough" look? Just an idea.

This one ain't the prettiest,has the rebated front lug therefore should not have codes.Not cheap,but maybe write the guy??

I wonder why so expensive. It doesn't have the sight assembly or port door, and even if it did, that'd still be expensive.

Yes.  ETA,,,,You don't start seeing the forge codes until something like 1972 or so.

Both of my 603 uppers were purchased through gunbroker and the EE.
