Had to put it together when I got it. I know the barrel is not finished

It has a semi trigger group. Can you use the auto selector? It will not let the trigger be pulled in auto position, only in the semi. I may have to call and ask the abc guys for that answer. You can use the auto selector, so long as you grind it down to be a semi-auto selector. |

Looks great! I have 2 parts kits in the shop and just sent off for one of the NDS lowers. What are you planning for the barrel? One of mine may end up being sent out to be pinned and parked. The other kit will most likely be a long term 607 build. I have tapped the FSB and use set screws, size 8-32. As for the barrel I had planned on having it melonite coated, but today I talked to a friend that Guncoats and he will do it for about $10. The melonite coating has been free in the past. So short answer. undecided as for now. |

Looks good. I like the set screwed FSB mod you did. Did you thread the bottom hole under the sling swivel for a fifth screw? You can actually dimple the barrel for that one similar to installing a low pro gas block.
Just a note and it may not matter, but your mag catch may need one or two more full turns. It may only be an aesthetic thing and not be a problem, but if you encounter any mag related malfunctions tighten it up a little. I find that seven full turns of the mag catch is usually a good starting point. Enjoy it! |

I did think about adding the 5th screw. I decide I didn't want to remove the sling swivel so I decided not to. I do like the dimple idea though. HMMM
I didn't count the turns. What I do is push the button into the reciever about 1/16 and turn til it touches. I will keep it in mind though. |
