Gentlemen,
Just learning as I go. I know the background of the mottled grip, but not the differences in the "thickness" of the grips. I went to a recent gun show and bought a handful of the grips for next to nothing and when I got home I notices a couple were 'thinner' than the others. They are not as beefier in diameter. Any insight on these? Many thanks. |

No insight but I've noticed the very same thing. I found some REALLY SWEET mottled grips that feel much larger in the palm than some of the C marked ones. The measurement with a caliper show only nominal differences but when you feel them, they're WAY different.
The smallest ones I've felt are the 601 grips. |
