I need to check if the bolt from my 603 kit will work in my 604 Barrel so I was wondering, is this:

the correct gauge? like a feild gauge? bolt should not close on

I never head space, except on M1 Garands. But then again, I only use new bolts.

I don't trust parts to be with in tolerances enough to bet my face or rifle to chance.

I use a USGI headspace gauge.
You can find them NIW on GunBroker.
