I saw "SAK MP Chrome Bore" on an auction AR 15 SP1  barrel, so I have to ask. What does  "SAK" mean ?

That's the manufacturers name..They also made barrels for the M14.

Saco Defense Industries, I think they were bought out by General Dynamics.  I thought it was Sako for the longest time...
