I wish you guys would quit posting these old shotguns!!!!
I don't really need one.....I don't really need one.....I don't really need one.....I don't really need one..... there, should hold me for a few more days. I know my eyes aren't quite what they used to be but, does it look like that holes in the heat shield were drilled with a hand drill to anyone else? I guess that's from when things were made by hand with pride. Doc |

well i started by measuring and cutting down the barrel with a pipe cutter, then dressing it with a dremel. next i ordered one of the repro trench shields from IMA. (it needed fitting to get a tight fit) and i can always take it off and have a riot shotgun also |
| nice shotgun. I have a USGI 20" bead site 8 round tube, the USGI guns have a heavy receiver and no engraving, Early on in Viet Nam the gov.sent field grade shotguns they were tring to get guns there .Shot guns were not produced for us use in great numbers, but found that it was a good weapon for Viet Nam, I carried a M37 no bayonet lug but why would you need a bayonet with 8 00 buck or #4 00 in the tube and slam fire? will try and figure out how to post pics. |
