Spent the day setting up for our FDR living history display Hyde Park N.Y,came home and started loading up my own stuff up in the truck to bring up tomorrow.Missing stuff,,went digging thru my numerous trunks of WW2 stuff,pulled out an M1 canvas sling,threw it to the side (was'nt what I was lookin for),found what I needed.Repacking that trunk I notice the M1 sling had NO belt buckle on it.Never noticed it before.And had it not been for AR15.com,I would have thought it was a defective M1 sling...It's a 601 sling

Hey, if you have a chance, could you post a pic of the buckle end (with the stitching).  I've got one that is a bit different than the others I've seen and would like to see what yours looks like.
