Fellow RETRO Barrel Seekers,

I just got a call from Dwayne at DEZ Arms and he informed me he had 50 (FIFTY) 16" light profile .625 barrels inbound!!!  He said he ordered them all 16" and he would cut down to tailor to the individual.  Arrival date is two weeks.

He doesn't have an ARFCOM account so he asked if there were any interested folks here to email him with your wants.

I bought my XM177E2 barrel from him.  He mounted all my hardware, permanently attached my ring and moderator and parked everything to match.  It is a great shooting barrel!  He does top notch work...

His email addy is:

I remember seeing a stripped 16" lightweight of his on Gunbroker. I seem to recall that one being .750" under the FSB. At any rate, if these are priced in line with what his barrels used to be priced at, I'll probably pick one up.

unless you really want it to be "authentic" .750 GB diameter would be an advantage. the number of .625 gas blocks out there isnt very big.

CMMG stocks them.  I just bought a couple from them to set aside...

When available "Authentic" is the only way to go for the retro forum...
Nodak made a business out of it.

Sometimes he is slow returning email.  He's turning barrels in his shop about 12 hours a day!  The guy does quality work and has great prices!

Please be patient!   http://shop.dezarms.com/main.sc

Sorry but you're incorrect.  Bushmaster fetheweight and ast leasst two otherls are all .625,, and if all you need is a sight base, Doublestar has the .625s.

Any idea what these 16" barrels will be selling for?

It depends on what you want done to them.  All he has is the barrel with extension.  You will have to provide FSB, front HG cap and barrel nut.  He will drill, mount and time everything and park to finish.  Call him and ask for specifics.

just talked to sherry from DEZarms, the barrel for my first retro build is on the way! She was very pleasant to work with and offered me a military discount. Seems like good people over there.

My 607 10" SBR barrel is on the way!!!

Will post pics for comparison to the original, once received.  Delivered price was $245.00 for the assembled barrel, attaching my hardware (barrel nut, FSB and HG caps) with a repark job to match everything.

Barrels are all gone. Got mine ordered in time. Does anyone know if these are the same profile as the early Colt barrels ?

Original Colt barrel...

That looks good, but I'm curious why you didn't have him thread the barrel right up next to the FSB like the original one pictured?
Or like a model 605 for post #605.
