$160 for one.  after all is said and done you will own at least 5 NDS lowers.

Thanks!  The retroblackrifle.com site has some great information but it has me puzzled about the Upper that I have:
My upper is a slick-side with a raised directional arrow by the rear sight like this:

According to the site, that would make the Upper a 603 but a 603 is shown to have a forward assist.  How do I identify my Upper?  I want to mate it up with a proper Lower.

Sounds like a 604.

Yeah, that looks right.  Thanks!

Any way to tell if it should have a Partial Fence or Full Fence lower?

partial if you want a 3 prong flash hider.

full fence if you want a birdcage hider.

I also kinda go by the forging line (or what ever you call it) by the upper right side of the port door.
If it is strait, it's an early upper.  If it has a curve it's a little later forging and I use those with the full fence and birdcage hider.

Here's a pic of the two uppers.  There are pics floating around with the area I am talking circled.

Also note the line at the bottom left of port door.  It aligns with the lower receiver on the real early 604 uppers.
