I've seen the T-Grip online and at shows, always thought it was more tacti-cool gear but today I saw a pic of them currently being used.  Can't tell if the rifles are your typical IDF retro/hybrid.  Wonder how they attach, you think those HG are RAS?

IDF is now officially tacticool with mall-ninja gear

RAS would be my guess... but that's pure speculation.  Thanks for sharing the pic though... pretty cool.

I remember when I first joined this site there was an IDF troop or two that would post from time to time.  At one point one posted a pic of his personal weapon, and he was using a few of the plastic Israeli-made accessories.

It seems to me that many of these accessories, while they may appear hokey compared to USGI gear, are more than adequate for IDF troopers, particularly for the couple of years that they are being used by the guys just doing their mandatory bit, or for those in support positions.

For those in higher-speed roles, most of the kibbutz-made weapon accessories seem like they can hold up well enough, and in the event that a forward grip, etc snaps upon impact, it's not the end of the world.
