Did ASA ever make retro lowers?

IIRC, there was a lot of talk about it, but they never actually got a retro piece to market. Can't say for sure though, 'cause that was before the retro-thing really started to take off, and before I was into AR15s at all.

Maybe one of the old-timers can chime in with more info on this.

Brad, aka Colt-653 here on AR15.com was working for ASA and was going to produce A1 lowers under the ASA name.

Brad ended up producing A1 lowers with a company called Tactics.

They tried but the final word was their lowers looked like botched surgery. Ugly in a word. The front man for this, as others have noted, was a guy named Brad.
