What is the likelyhood of Headspace issues with a Used (Milsurp) Ohio Ordanance complete Barreled Colt M16A1 upper and a NEW bolt ? (and can carrier be new or used and not come into play with that Issue possibility?)

Probably none.  Everyone mixes parts all the time and nobody blows up

Carrier does not matter. It merely holds the bolt

I have never head spaced an AR15 there could always be the one that had a problem but I have put together around sixty and have combined new and used parts and some all used parts.

Hmmmm.  Perfect user name.  60 builds and no issues?  Don't push your luck.  $25 for a field headspace gauge is really cheap insurance against a KB and possible injury to you or someone else standing nearby.

YEP, shoot em in the shop for the first time with no one nearby.

But get a gauge would be my advice. I'm nuts
