New Old Stock. Means it's been sitting around, sealed in package or unused since its manufacture.

ETA: Could also mean Nitrous oxide, if you've ever suffered through The Fast & the Furious.

C'mon now, he came across an acronym on GB or EE and didn't know what it meant...I came across one on GB last week, too...I *still* don't know what it means, and GB doesn't have a list of "approved" acronyms to use on that site...

I sent in a Support Request, but haven't heard back from them...

Does anyone know if ARFCOM has a listing of "approved" acronyms for the EE???
