I asked Yankee-V if he wanted a couple as much as I did and if so could a signshop buddy of mine have permission to use the image he created to make a couple.

The female driver of that car is a lifetime member of the Old School Gun Club!

I don't want a decal like that I just want to meet the woman who has that on her car! Maybe I can send one like that to Sarah Palin, grr baby yeah!

Sarah Palin!! Now you have done it, now I will be thinking of her all day!! She can hunt at my camp anytime!!
Seriously though, if we want to keep our guns and the rights we have to possess guns we have to work for those rights. We should all vote to get her in office and also do all we can to get others to vote to put her ticket in office as well. If the "others" get in there is going to be a assault (no pun intended) on our rights to possess guns and our guns themselves that we could not ever have imagined....<><....:)

And what about my part of the agreement?

I want my decals!!

My apology to the originator of the design.  I adopted it as my "avatar" but was not the one who created it.  Ghostring gets the real credit.

Hey, QUIET, send me a decal and send some to Ghost.  He recently sent me a correctly sized avatar.  Much appreciated.

I just now saw the retro decal and figured out what you guys were talking about.  A firewall where I work blocks some of the pics on occasion.

I went to the link and it is another auction. Went to the sellers store and went through all there and did not see the retro. Did I miss it?

If its the decal I think it is, it's not like Ghostring's.  Its a military type ring with three tine blade sight centered in it.  Sort of universal, could be a Garand, M1 carb, AR, etc.

I wanted a couple of the decals made but got tired of waiting so I started moving on it.  I couldn't find the old thread and when seeing Yankee-V's avatar, assumed he was the one who created the image.  When he agreed to give permission, I thought we were off and rolling.

Well, I just sent an email to Ghostring to try to sort this out.  In the meantime, without resurrecting it, could someone send me a link to the old thread where the image was originally discussed?

Originally I was only looking for a couple for me and a couple for the originator of the image.

For what its worth, I don't own the sign shop and have not made any money off of this.  Infact, it has cost money just to get where I am with this.

I'm hoping this gets worked out.  If so, I could share the signshop contact info with interested parties as long as it didn't break any board rules (if I haven't broken them already).

No worries guys!

Ultimately, I (we) just want to see decals in people's hands.

Here's the original thread if anyone needs it:

I think the decals came out great - I'm just glad they became a reality!

Wow, I hadn't had my morning donut yet and look at the snafu I posted just above.

Here's the post donut correction update!

GhostRing remined me that I did email him, not yankee-V, and GhostRing did give permission.  Yankee-V was getting a decal from me because he picked up the obscure bayonet drill reference in another post.

Pending Coctailer's email to me, we might be all set.

My apologies to Yankee-V for any negative connotations from my erronous post.

Sorry for any confusion guys, I'll try to avoid pre morning donut posts from now on.

I'm down for one on the EE thread.  I've got a special location to display it, if the sizing is small enough .  I also think a similar, small vehicle decal, in the form of the AR boltface would be neat.  Like the ARFcom logo in the lower right of the screen here, but without the AR15.com lettering (just the form of the boltface).

Exactly.

We are not allowed to re-produce the bolt face logo. It is trademarked by AR15.com

Oh yes, I know.  I didn't expect anyone to steal the logo.  Now I found the car magnet and a mug, so I am happy!
