Here is a good question. I have a old a1 buttstock but i wanted to know could an a2 be found to match the color of the triangulas handgaurds?

A2 buttstocks are made by a bunch of different manufacturers in many different colors and shades. One in Flat black should not be hard to find. A2's do tend to have more of a rough texture to them though. Not smooth like an A1.

They'll fit with a 3/4 inch spacer and a longer screw onto the same Buffer tube as an A1. Also very common parts.

A particular reason for desiring an A2 stock?  Simian arms?
The A2s are of different material; reputedly stronger, but not as nice looking.

Get any A2 and sand a little with 600 grit wet sand and spray it with alumhyde.  Worked out good for me and holds up better that an old cheap rattle can job.

Good tip.  Did the same thing with a Cav Arms, and it came out looking much better.
