Hello Retro Buffs.  I have been directed here for assistance.  This is my latest project. I have an A1 complete upper rec with teardrop FA and need a vendor who can provide and install the shorty barrel with perm-attached flash suppressor. It will not be a purist repro but a functional semi auto for the truck.  I plan to use an Armalite M15 lower with an Essential Arms 4 position smooth texture stock.  Any recommendations here?? I am new to this forum but an old hand on others. Thanks in advance. Chesster

I sent a barrel to Kurt's Kustom Firearms and he made and permanently attached a FH for me to make my barrel 16".  I think he'd install it on an upper too, but I'm not sure.

If you're not a total purist, have you cinsidered a retro carbine with a longer barrel?  Just curious.

I've been having ADCO do my shop stuff since Randall went tango uniform.  I've been really happy with their work and their prices.  Here is a pic of the 10" barrel on my 607 project after they cut and threaded it:

I actually have one already with the full 16" bbl, just going for one now with the shorty bbl and FH.

THAT is exactly what I want my XM barrel to look like.
