I have a Colt M16A1 upper that I put on a Sendra lower. I have it all ready but I lack a charging handle. My question is what would be period correct charging handle for an M16A1 from the 70's? Also would a chrome carrier and bolt be correct? This won't be totally accurate but I want to get as close as possible with it. Pics would be appreciated thanks........ |

Standard gray anodized charging handle will be fine. A '70's A1 would use a standard parked "C" marked BCG, as per Ekie's Retro Guide. |
