A question for anyone that has sent their magwells in to be beveled, what was the turn around time on the whole process and how did you get in contact with S & W?

Shoot...I was hoping someone would answer you...

On two of my 80% lowers, I had to bevel the magwell...I ordered a 45º cutter, set it up in the mill, and did a box cut...and it did a good job...I was hoping someone would post a pic of S&W's work, so I could compare...

Thanks guys, I reposted it here incase anyone is looking for the answer. The only thing thats keeping me from doing it myself is the refinishing, why spend the money to get it refinished after beveling when I can send it in to be done for free.

This *is* an AR-15 type magazine well, right??? How "square edged" is it??? I've seen one at a gun show that had no bevel at all...but I don't recall who made it...

Here's a magwell I did...I don't know how it compares to others...feel free to criticize...
