We bought some of these years ago that were supposedly contracted out of Canada. Does anyone know how much they'd go for now? I have searched around and cant find any for sale.  I can post pictures if needed. Thanks.

Check Gunbroker - I think there was one for sale there not too long ago. I need both my arms, so I didn't bid on it...

Figment,

Sorry man, I didn't mean to come off sounding like a jerk.  I didn't make the rules, just trying to keep you from breaking them.

I know it was an honest quesiton, but we have had a lot of people take advantage of the help and knowledge of the Retro Forum in order to just make a buck, and we risk having it shut down altogether by answering pricing questions.

Gunbroker and Auction Arms are good starting points.  Also, if you watch market value on the AR15.com Equipment Exchange, that is a good benchmark of what they are going for.  Also check out Sturghewer Forums.

I'm not trying to sell or buy anything. I was just curious as I cant find them anywhere as a stated in my post, otherwise I would not have asked here. Thanks.

It's still there.  I'm actually looking for one, but that one is WAY too high IMO.  I wish I had picked one up when they were a bit easier to find.

Has anybody seen one of these for a reasonable cost?  I've got the bug to have one, but 1800 dollars seems to me better than twice what they're actually worth.  I've seen them listed for these silly high prices, but I've never seen one actually sell for that much!

They were plentiful and cheap($500) in the late 90's.  They have since dried up and are now asking for 3-4x what they sold for 10 years ago.

Not sure if this has been linked yet

Linky

So deducting the value of the parts from the delta ring back, this might be a better deal.  Might.

Then you only have the insignificant problem of locating a non-forward assist A2 upper for it

I have a non-FA A-2 upper. Is that what it came from?
Anyone with pics of the upper?

Not as early as XM106.  Don't know the history.  Does anyone out there?

The weapon according to autoweapons came from someone who got it straight from the Colt toolroom.  It has all the potential hallmarks of a hodgepodge Colt toolroom gun, including a surrogate lower, electropenciled with "L.M.G." (or otherwise had the letter added after).  The lower appears to be three positions, production LMG lowers were A2 style and 2 position (S-F, on and off as it were).  Beyond that, the LMG upper looks pretty standard.
