Just a mock up with my NDS A1 lower. The stock is looking good after wet sanding and buffing.Lots more parts to buy,but its coming along nicely.

| Yup,thats a surplus A1 from Gunny's. The stock is from Numrich,and if you go back a few days,I posted pics of it before I cleaned it up. I believe one poster said it looked like it was run over by a tank. I wet sanded with 400,then 600 grit,followed by automotive rubbing compound. I'll buff it out with the rubbing compound a few more times and call it good. The stock would be more correct for an earlier rifle,like an XM16E1, but it still fits for an A1 as there would be an overlap of parts. Looks good anyway,as it matches the grip. |
