I have been waiting for this day since October. The 2 Nodak lowers arrive today, and the 4 uppers and 2 Nodak  lowers will arrive Tomorrow from US Anodizing. So I am getting the parts ready for assembly. Hope to have a picture or two up by Thursday. Here's a picture of the parts.

LOL... meeeeee too!

That's what I originally wanted, and this had kept me happy until I seen all the 605 bbl jobs showing up.

The trigger guards are gray, but the color varies on each of them, so it has to be matched to the lower. The mag release buttons are soon to be gray. The trigger and hammer pins are gray. The take down pins are gray. The triggers and hammers are all military. There is a difference in the color on the triggers and hammers like the trigger guards. The color on the dust covers vary. When I was in the Army I never saw one that was all one color, there was always a couple of parts that were different colors than the rifle. So if it ends up a couple of different colors it wont bother me.

The 605 is going to be fun. Damn this stuff......and I thought these were going to be easier than AKs.

The uppers and lowers came today from US Anodizing, they look grate. I am one lower short, the slab side one. It should be here next week from Nodak. Here a pic of the upper and lowers, have to go, have a lot of work to do.

Is the A1 assembly in the upper left a darker gray or is it just the lighting?

To answer AKARS question, the one in the upper left is black anodized, My wife's brother was in Vietnam and she wanted one like he carried. Got my first retro rifle done. You guy's were right, the more you build, the more fun you have. I am glad I picked four different designs to build, I shouldn't be allowed to have this much fun. Here's a picture of my first build, the kind my wife's brother carried in Vietnam.

OH don't mind stupid dog in the picture.

Wait a minute! This thread is all messed up! I count four barrels and four upper/lower combos but SIX bolt groups! You'd better have two more in the works!

Oh, and that sure is a funny looking dog, in fact, it looks a lot like my dog.

Now If Mike would just come up with some great logo for the side of the recievers like a screaming eagle or a flying pig instead of "spud" then we would have it made!
