Anyone have a good picture of a 601 with brown fiberglass on it? I haven't been laid in a couple of weeks and I need something to look at. Just kidding, I have been searching for some photos of the elusive brown gun, and I can't find any. I want something to drool over. I guess I should ask for a link or two.

Hope this helps ya out! Thanks for the 601 grip off the pay-it-forward, it is really nice and will go on my rifle after I round up some other pieces (like the darn chrome slickside carrier)

What's the deal with the ones that are very light / aluminum colored? Were they clear anodized? or just raw alumnum and oiled? I really like them alot.

My guess would be that they were so heavily used that the anodizing wore off years ago.

that sure is a sharp looking Palmetto Armory there ,, you wouldnt know the ser# range would you as my first one was 13XX and my second is a 41xx which i still have the second one .

I have no idea, unfortunately none of those weapons are mine.

Maybe Villafeugo will chime in as I think the Palmetto lowered weapon is his.

How hard is it to find brown furniture? Since they were mostly painted green I imagine just as hard as the green. Am I right?
