I plan on buying an LMT BUIS versus buying a cheapy clone for 1/2 as much. I would just like to see a comparison, and hear any horror stories about cheap A2-style non-flip down sights. Seems to me what I'm paying for is quality in machining and attention to detail - which is why I'd like to see pics side by side - I'd like to see what I'm paying for or hear about it. (facts not opinions) I KNOW someone out there has both.

ETA: I swear to God I was in AR discussions when I posted this thread! I have multiple windows open though - crap. Mods - please move to AR discussions or delete!

Write this on the calender:  The first time a retro forum regular has mistakenly asked a question about tacticool stuff in the retro forum!

All the other guys doing it must be contagious.

Hey, lets ALL go into the regular AR forum at the same time and ask obscure questions about retro AR stuff! Its an invasion!

FWIW, it happened to me as I was browsing the retro forum - then I hit a link taking me to a thread in AR discussions, and I then created a thread - thinking I was in AR discussions. It must go back to the original forum you are in instead of the linked forum. I couldn't understand at first how it happened, but then I got thinking about it, and it (sort of) makes sense.
