I picked up a SP1 for $600.00 today Did I pay to much?

If it's an original SP1, that's quite the deal. I haven't seen them priced like that since like 1996 or so.

You might provide more pics of the following:

left side of the lower, showing the "AR-15" markings and give an idea of the serial # range

any forge codes or manufacturer codes on the upper (right side)

info on the top of the barrel in front of the FSB

ETA: yes, definitely a good deal

It is a orignal Sp1. My photo skills suck. As per the data base it was made in 1973
