Thought I'd show my weekend project: Painted some Triangle handguards, a buttstock and an A1 grip with 601 green paint I got from KurtVF. Then painted a "cheapie" fibrelite telestock with Krylon Fusion Gloss Black, and cut down an A1 grip for the same gun.  Neglected to cut the paint with Enamel Thinner, so came out with a grainy texture, however the color is so right I'm grappling with whether I should sand it and repaint, or get another stock and handguards to re-re paint, and keep these as is.   And, the painted telestock. The grip got the base sanded yesterday, and gets a coat of the gloss black today. Mark |
