I need help finding a source for the old style car lock rings. I ordered a stock for my 653 clone, and the pic showed the old style ring. When It arrived it had the new style ring. Who sells the old style ones without the notches?

I got a CAR stock kit from pk firearms that came with that stlye lock ring. Its not an exact copy but its close. I think they sell it without the repo stock.

Nope I just checked PK, and the only ones they had were the new style.

I paid $9.50 from sirplussupply.com. You can choose gray or black. Comes with ring,spring, and clip.

I think your talking about the handguard slip ring. I checked their site and did not see what I was looking for listed.

Go to the stock section and at the bottom of the page is the cheap'o kit that I bought that had one in it. Maybe you could call the guy and ask him to seperate it for you. They seem nice enough.

Well crap! If you had posted this yesterday I could have picked one up for you at the gun show today! I saw a guy with a boxfull of lockrings for $5 each! They only had one hole but didn't have the three peening notches. That would be easy enough to correct though. If one of my friends go to the show tomorrow I'll see if I can get them to snag one for you.

. Actually the type without the notches is the one I want/ I would be more than happy to stick some $ in an envelope for one.
