I finally got all the parts together for a 651 build.

I used a 16 inch barrel instead of a 14.5.

I need to put a good coat of Colt Grey on the receivers and other parts. I will do that on Friday.

Very nice.

I actually like fixed stocks better. They don't stick to your face in the winter.

That is really the reason I decided to do the 551 build. I like the fixed stock better.

This carbine has a great feel to it.

I used the Busmaster barrel. Chrome lined and 4150 steel. At 1/7 it will shoot anything. To me better than a 1/12 Colt barrel.
