Here's the start to my XM177E2 build.

PWA a1 lower
EA Aluminum Stock

I have a Bushmaster 16" light weight barrel that i'm going to remove the bayonet lug from, then unfortunately use the bushmaster slipover flash hider to give it the shorty look (damn the state of Illinois!!!).

That's gonna be a sweet rifle. Why dont you just do the barrel 12" and have a 4.5" moderator welded on?

I don't want to have a permanently attached flash hider. I do Vietnam reenacting so I need to be able to remove the blank adapter.
