I'd get one that was also designed as a barricade stop.
SLR and Midwest Ind come to mind.

I ordered the MagPul hand stop and just installed the back larger finger part along with the covers for heat it works good on my 7.5". Will post a pic after work!

I put a Streamlight TLR-1s on mine, though I have picatinny rail so I don't require special shit.

I like the one made by Guntec because it only costs $15 and it doubles as a QD sling mount
