Had anyone built a dedicated 22 pistol off this design?

My googlefu is weak.

Looks like a retro upper with the carry handle chopped off. Such a shame

It's a resin or 3D printed prop (like others shown in behind the scenes videos). They didn't cut up a real AR to make it.

Yes it is, but I'm willing to do a .22 LR EE build.

Any interest ?

Honestly I loved rogue one and I know the original movies had guns based on real world things (sterling etc) but the last couple of star wars movies have been really lazy in "hiding" the fact that they are just using real world gun parts. The AR15 type rifles in Rogue One, Cpt Phasma's stock in FA and that pistol you posted in particular all really irked me for some reason. Then again maybe I'm just getting old and grumpy.

I'm going to pickup a nerf gun and use the side bolts and the barrel shroud, looking for a 4 inch barrel now in EE.

Should look cool as hell with piney mountain tracers.

In Attack of the Clones, Zam Wessel's rifle was a modified CVA muzzle loader.
