So I just got back from finally shooting my new 10.5 pistol. Hardened Arms upper, PSA premium BCG, Anderson lower, Aero LPK, kak buffer kit with blade.

I have not shot it unsuppressed. I got a chance to "visit" my new Sig can that's in ATF jail and that can is going to live on this pistol so I said F it. I'm just going to run it right away suppressed.

I put 150 rounds through it zero hiccups. The brass casings ejected at the 2 o'clock position. The steel casing ejected at the 3 o'clock position. Brass was American Eagle 55 grain 223. Steel was Tula 55 grain 223.

Is that ok?

Perfect

Maybe an RCH overgassed but it should be good.

Could a new bolt with strong ejector spring with black o ring do that i wonder?

Put an H2 buffer in it. A BCM  extractor spring helps if you like to shoot steel a lot.

I was planning on running a SLR Sentry on it. Would I still need the H2 once I get the adjustable gas block?

If you plan on using it 100% suppressed, the buffer wouldn't matter too much. A carbine buffer will be fine.

If you plan on using it suppressed/unsuppressed, set the gas block to lock back with the sentry without the can, then run the can on it. It will be overgassed, but not as much as before.

Carbine buffer will be fine. I actually use a Faxon low mass carrier + weights removed from my buffer. With a standard gas block, it works fine with or without a can.

This is with a Faxon barrel where gas ports are sized right.

Steel isn't the strongest runner anyway, so 3 o'clock is probably ideal for it.

If this was for a gun for only brass, ideally it'd be 3-4 o'clock even with that stuff. If you only plan to shoot brass, I'd put an H or H2 in it.

Now if you give the gun a good cleaning, lube it up, and it starts throwing casings even further to the front, I'd H2 it.

Give it a good cleaning. Get all the factory preservatives out and get some good oil in.
