| I have a 300 blackout pistol I am thinking of converting to a sbr. My question is can I also get a 10" .223 upper and switch them out? Or would I have to get a lower and stamp and make a separate gun? So what I want to know under one stamp (sbr) can I have two different uppers both under 16"? |

You can have as many different uppers as you want and swap them onto your SBR lower at will. |

I did some googling; Can swap any length upper onto an NFA lower as long as it can be returned to Form1 Configuration. MEANING I can have 5 different uppers for my lower. |

You do not even need to be able to return it to the original configuration. Form 1 information is the configuration the SBR is initially built. Once it is initially built, the SBR may be changed as the owner desires. The BATFE requests (but does NOT require) notification for any permanent changes. And on a modular platform like the AR15, there is not really any permanent change anyway. |

You'll quickly learn each of the uppers will soon have their own lowers. Stamp collecting is a terrible, terrible idsease. Quoted:

Thanks all for the info. That makes the desicion easy. $200.00 for 2 or 3 guns instead of $400.00 or 600.00 ![]() ![]() ![]()
