I'm going to go with a Voodoo Innovations 11.5" Ultra Light barrel and a Phase 5 Hex-2 buffer tube. I believe that this will get me over 26" so that I can put a vertical grip on it. Anyone know if I'm correct?

My bcm 11.5 with phase 5 hex tube was literally 26". Granted I didn't take the fh off to measure I just kinda guesstimated but it was sooo close

11.5" is good with all carbine length extension tubes.

Awfully close. Anyone ever actually squared one up without muzzle device and measured the flat distance as I assume ATF would?
