Long time lurker, first time poster.
I have finally decided to jump into the deep end and build my first AR. I have done a lot of reading, and read more and more each day. I've spent a ton of time in the pistol picture thread to help compose my parts list for my build. I just now started purchasing the parts and so far i have the upper/lower and sb15 brace. i will be ordering the remainder of everything within the month or so. i have a few things im trying to sell to help fund this build because im anxious. haha. im open to suggestions or recommendations on changes to be made. im going to continuously update this thread when parts arrive and i start to assemble so i have record of a build. lol You know.. Aero Precision does cheap uppers & lowers. $60 for a blem stripped upper. $100 for an assembled blem free one. New lowers are $85. They're good to go. Im dead set on their very competitively priced 308 lower (once Ares ships me my 308 upper). Its gonna end up being a $900 308

Its gonna end up being a $900 308 yeah the upper and lower i have aren't the best on the market, i understand, but i wanted to pick up a cheap set to offset the cost of having them hydrodipped. as with the other parts, i tried to keep quality a key without breaking the bank to much, i have a wife that i have to try and keep happy. haha. after i finish building this, i will probably build a budget 308 to go along with my sig716, or jump on the 300blk bandwagon. |

just finished doing some online shopping!! i should be able to order the remainder of the parts next week. but until then, i'll be waiting on the mail man to deliver these parts:
