Ok so here's my build that im putting together.

7.5" barrel
9" troy Vtac Alpha rail
Nickel Boron m16 spec full auto BCG
flash can
PSA lower
PSA LPK
PSA H2 buffer
Magpul moe grip
KAK Super sig pistol buffer tube
Chrome silicon spring
Ikickhippes Slap sling attachment end plate
Bushnell TRS-25
Magpul mbus sights

Hope this setup will run smooth and reliably.

Thanks
*Edit*
Instead of creating a new thread ill just use this one for my build.

Start with the H3. Use the crappiest, most underpowered ammo you typically shoot. Ensure lock back on empty mag. Swap tungsten weights for steel weights if needed. Test fire with as many rounds as are typically fired in one session.

There is never any one solution for buffer weight.

A standard buffer may very well do the trick.

An adjustable gas block is another solution.

Wow we have a very similar build:

Not that most of those parts will matter. I'm running a spikes st-t2 buffer without a single hiccup yet. That would be close to an h2.

my 7.5 would kick to the front with a H buffer , so I went with a H3 and tossed on a KX3 after about 200-300 rds I was able to switch it back to a h buffer. just takes some tuning.

I want to put my law tac folder on it but need to wait till I can get out to test fire it first.

always look to see where your brass is flying. it could be over gassed also

Since im buying my lower from PSA... I see they have different buffers..... Which one would work with my setup reliably?
H?
H2?
H3?

Thanks

That's basically what I just built! I bought the Palmetto lower pistol build kit and it came with the H2 buffer. Couldn't be happier with this build. It runs perfectly and is accurate as hell too.

Is that barrel 7" or shorter? Wondering because your KX3 is less exposed than my 7.5 build up above.

I don't think masdefense is using the KX3... I believe they are using their Flash Can. Which the dimensions may be a little shorter than the Noveske

So I've been browsing some pics of pistols.... Some have magpul afgs on them and hand stops..... Thought these were a no go for pistols? Or did i miss something?

As I understand it afgs and hand stops are gtg. Vfgs are not.

Hand stops and afgs... Hmm

Is there something that says that from ATF somewhere?

I'd like to keep all paperwork with this rifle... Just in case lol

Edit***
Nvm I found the ATF scan thread.

My build is complete!

One thing i noticed though is when I rack the charging handle, its not smooth. I guess I need to lube it up real good and just break it in!

Ill post pics later.

Still waiting for my bushnell tra25.

Thinking of painting the rail to FDE to match my fde mbus and fde grip..

I read that aervoe is a good match for magpul fde and brownells alumyahide also is a good match

Side note: I noticed that my PSA blem lower is pnt really black. It's more on the grey side... Anyone else experience this?

Anodizing can very from batch to batch.
It will also darken up when you get oil on it, I usually wipe my upper and lower down with an oily rag after i'm done cleaning the barrel and bolt, it also makes it feel less chalky to me.

Took the rifle out to the range. Only had time to shoot 2 mags through it. Functioned 100%!!! All shell casing were ejecting at the 2-3 o'clock position.

Ton of fun to shoot!
