I thought, since the AR pistol had a barrel of 7", you needed a tax stamp. I now know I am wrong on this correct? As long as it doesn't have a stock, then it's a pistol, correct? I also see that I can't add a fore grip to it. So as far as the barrel goes, can I add a normal muzzle to it, and when does the length of my pistol barrel turn into a carbine barrel?

No stock means not a rifle (as long as the receiver didn't start as a rifle). Barrel length does not matter. An angled forward grip is fine. A VFG requires an AOL of 26" or more, and technically it can never be concealed on the person or it will become and always be considered an AOW.
