[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Plug for a .22

Does anyone besides Spikes make a reciever plug for a .22? Just looking at options, the Spikes will do the trick, but I can't find one right now, and Google isn't helping much.

Anyone have one in stock, fast shipping would be nice :)? All the places I've looked so far have been out.

assuming you mean the gas system, why are you concerned about plugging it? I know .22lr is dirty and can foul the gas tube, but after you get done shooting .22lr, just shoot a few rounds of .223/5.56 to clean the DI gas system.

No it's not for the gas system, it's so you don't need a buffer tube.

link is broken, but sounds interesting. Something to me makes me think that without the buffer system, pistol tube or not, the AR doesnt look like an AR
