Hello, I've got this pistol/SBR upper with an A2 suppressor that I do not know much about manufacture wise. I'm not even sure of the length; where do you start measuring the barrel? I'd like to do a little research to learn more about it, but I'm not sure where to start. What do you think I have here? Where should I look for more information? ETA: The Barrel is marked with DPMS 5.56. http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z450/gearmine/AR-mine/th_CopyofDSCF0019.jpghttp://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z450/gearmine/AR-mine/th_CopyofDSCF0012.jpghttp://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z450/gearmine/AR-mine/th_CopyofDSCF0009.jpghttp://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z450/gearmine/AR-mine/th_ARPR.jpghttp://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z450/gearmine/AR-mine/th_ARPL.jpg |

Per Scallywag's measuring instructions it's 8.5" to the end of the birdcage. I didn't feel like popping the birdcage off to get a measurement on just the barrel. Doesn't the A2 usually add 1.5"? So the barrel should be 7"? Feel free to call me the village idiot if I'm not making any sense, but please educate me while you're at it. There's no markings that I can see. Do I need to get the hand guard off to find some hidden information? I'd like to find out if this upper can take 5.56 Nato rounds. |
