Was thinking about a single point sling for my pistol. Who sells them?
Have any of you found your pistol shoots better with a traditional 2 point sling for aiming support? Thanks |

It seems everyone is selling a single point sling these days. I have one from Blackhawk, a Specter Gear, Troy, and a couple local manufacturers. Personally, I like a no frills basic single point that can be disconnected easily if necessary.
I don't think the AR pistol really has enough length for a two point, especially without a buttstock. I find that adding a buffer sling plate like those sold by Daniel Defense or Magpul work best. |
I use a Condor Cobra One Point Rifle Bungee sling . I like being able to disconnect the pistol without have to remove the whole sling.
Guy sells them on ebay for about 30 bucks. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230524308327&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT |

I use the SLAP plate from ikickhippes.com and either an MS2 or a Spectre Gear single-point. The MS2 is a good idea, but as implemented with 1" webbing, it blows. Too bad, because I like the single to two point option for carry. I have a rail mounted side sling adapter on the Troy TRX handguard.
I've got a couple new slings on the way to try (Urban ERT and Troy) to see if I like them better on the pistol. Thank goodness for the EE! |

Use nothing but single point slings from http://www.gearsector.com/
Extremely well made. |

Cheaper Than Dirt Cobra One Point Bungee Sling Item # Sling-100 Works Great! Looks Great! I now have two of the Cobara One Point Bungee Slings! I am also adding a Magpul Multi Mission Sling System - MS2. I can go from 1 point to over-the-shoulder and two point tactical firing stance |

How about this single point (550 paracord) with my custom QD endplate.

For that price I figured I'd give it a try. |

Thing I don't think I would like about the bungy type sling is it seems like it would be difficult to get a tight hold with it on the weapon. I can set my regular single point to when I bring it up, it's tight which helps steady the pistol. (hope that all makes since)

I also use a Magpul MS2 (got after I had the two bungee slings) with the AR. Since, I also have a Norinco 56s-1 underfolder the extra bungee or MS2 is good to have! |
