i was watching the A+E police reality show "first 48" and an AR pistol with a vfg was used as a defensive weapon at a murder scene in a pot selling house! it had a fluted stainless barrel. anybody see the show? what model was it?

I think it was a carbon 15? Interesting how the vertical grip wasn't an issue?

It wasn't an issue because the guy that used it was dead

Damn that is a stupid law.

Oh so production companies are allowed to break the law and get away with it? It's one thing having a fake MG, this is another story.

"Well officer this is for my film that I am shooting down on the beach"

I'm not sure I follow you LastRites. I think first 48 follows around detectives trying to solve actual murders. I was not under the impression that they were fake murders or that the production company was planting weapons at a murder scene.

first 48 is 100% reality, quite griitty and brutal at times! the police interogation methods are as fascinating as the criminals are stupid. they actually get talked into thinking that confessing to 1st degree murder is a good strategy!!! what a great show!

hollyweird has taken to using airsoft guns for props instead of real firearms, toy gun = no NFA law issues.
