Finished over the weekend.  Sorry for lousy iphone pic.

RRA lower

JP reduced power springs

Magpul trigger guard

Power custom extended mag button

M1S Upper kit with YHM FF

KX3

Eotech 511

Cheapy single point sling; Blackhawk I think

I haven't had the chance to shoot it complete.  I ran the upper on an M16 a few weeks ago; worked like a champ.  I was supposed to be able to get to the range tomorrow.  I even had a car to be delivered from the local wrecker service.  Something came up so it will probably be a couple of weeks before I can get a good range report.  I'll chrono it too.

I never had any interest in an AR pistol until about six months ago when one of our motorcycle officers said he wanted something with more than handgun firepower.  We built one of these and it fits neatly into his side saddle (w/o KX3).  I've built about 11 more since then, most less "intricate" than mine pictured, for other our other officers, mostly as range toys though a few are using them for duty reasons (one is a SWAT officer assigned to the breaching shotgun and another assigned to the less lethal weapons) who want something handy and not in their trunk at a critical moment.

Range report to follow.

Nice setup.

Out of curiosity, why did you go with the reduced power springs? Have you found them more reliable?

Honestly the only reason I put in the reduced springs was because someone gave them to me. They are far cheaper than the 2-stage triggers and I definitely like the lighter trigger pull.
