I am building my first pistol. I was wondering if anyone had tried the hydraulic buffer in a pistol and if so was it worth the price? Parts Obtained so far territorial arms stripped lower - Stark Equipment Grip - love the integrated trigger guard, great grip for large hands RRA A4 7" upper with free float tube and waver type gas block - found this locally picking it up tomorrow Parts Needed in order Send it out for some nice etching RRA pistol tube kit lower parts kit |

Mega,
I have played with an MGI rate reducing buffer in a 10.5" pistol build. A lot of the functionality of any heavy buffer is gonna depend on how well the stock gas system is regulated to begin with. Not sure what your goals are with the extra heavy buffer, but im my experiments I have found that playing with the flash hider/brake seems to have more of an impact on controlability than the extra heavy buffer.
